The Invisible Way to Straighten Teeth
Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, clear plastic aligners to gradually move your teeth into alignment. Each aligner is worn for 1–2 weeks before moving to the next in the sequence.
Unlike braces, Invisalign is:
- Nearly invisible
- Removable (eat what you want, brush normally)
- Comfortable (smooth plastic, no wires or brackets)
- Digital-planned (you can see your full treatment plan upfront)
Timeline:
12–24 months (varies by case)
The Invisalign Process — Step by Step
Step 1: Consultation & 3D Scan
We take a 3D scan of your teeth (no impressions, no gagging). Dr. Le plans your exact treatment path.
Step 2: Review Your Digital Plan
Before treatment starts, you’ll see a 3D animation showing where your teeth will be at every step. You’ll know exactly what to expect.
Step 3: Custom Aligners Created
Your aligners are manufactured specifically for you and shipped to our office.
Step 4: Start Wearing Your Aligners
You wear each set for 1–2 weeks. Most people wear them 20–22 hours per day. You remove them to eat, drink (except water), and brush.
Step 5: Check-Ins Every 6–8 Weeks
Come back periodically so Dr. Le can monitor your progress and give you your next set of aligners.
Step 6: Celebrate Your New Smile
When treatment is complete, you get custom retainers to keep your teeth stable.
Perfect for Busy Adults
Reason 1: Invisible
Nobody will know you’re straightening your teeth unless you tell them. Great for professionals, dating, public speaking, photos.
Reason 2: Removable
Eat, drink, and brush normally. No dietary restrictions like with braces. No worrying about food stuck in brackets.
Reason 3: Comfortable
Smooth plastic aligners are comfortable against your gums. No sharp wires or brackets poking your cheeks.
Reason 4: Convenient
Fewer office visits than braces. Minimal interruption to your busy schedule.
Reason 5: Predictable
You see the entire treatment plan in 3D before you start. No surprises.
Reason 6: Flexible
If you have a special event (wedding, presentation, photo shoot), just take out your aligners for a few hours.

Common Questions About Invisalign
Q: Will anyone notice I’m wearing aligners?
A: Probably not. Most people don’t notice unless you tell them. The plastic is nearly invisible.
Q: What if I lose or break an aligner?
A: Call us immediately. We’ll help you get a replacement quickly. Don’t just skip to the next one.
Q: Can I eat with my aligners in?
A: No. Remove them before eating or drinking anything except water. Eating with them in can damage them.
Q: How often do I see Dr. Le?
A: Every 6–8 weeks for a quick check-in. Appointments are usually 15–20 minutes.
Q: Do I need a retainer after Invisalign?
A: Yes. We’ll give you custom retainers to keep your smile stable. This is important.
Q: What if my case is too complex for Invisalign?
A: Dr. Le will be honest about this during your consultation. Some cases work better with braces.
Q: How long does treatment take?
A: Typically 12–24 months, depending on how complex your case is.
