SMS Terms of Service — All Star Orthodontics

This SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) describes the terms and conditions governing SMS (text message) communications from All Star Orthodontics (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting into SMS communications from us, you agree to these terms.

4. Opting Out

4.1 How to Stop SMS Messages

Method 1: Text STOP

  • Reply “STOP” to any SMS message from us
  • You will stop receiving all SMS (both required and promotional) within 10 business days

4.2 Selective Opt-Out

  • Contact us directly and specify that you want to opt out of marketing SMS only

You will continue to receive appointment and treatment-related messages.

4.3 Timing of Removal

After you send “STOP” or request removal:

  • We will process the request within 10 business days
  • You may receive messages already queued in the system
  • You will not receive messages after removal is processed

5. Message Frequency and Rates

5.1 Message Frequency

The frequency of SMS messages varies based on:

  • Appointment reminders: 1 message per appointment (2–3 days before)
  • Treatment updates: As needed for clinical reasons
  • Promotional messages: Varies (weekly to monthly, if opted in)
  • Service notifications: As needed for account management

Standard SMS rates apply based on your wireless carrier. Check with your carrier for specific rates and plans.

7. SMS Content and Compliance

7.1 Automatic Messages

Our SMS communications are sent using automated technology. Standard message rates apply.

7.2 Email and SMS Combination

SMS messages may contain links to web pages or email follow-ups. You may receive additional communications via email as part of your treatment plan.

7.3 TCPA Compliance

We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA):

  • You are providing prior express written consent for SMS
  • SMS is sent only to the phone number you authorize
  • You can opt out at any time
